Nancy Zieman: Sewing Extraordinaire!
I have been watching sewing shows on TV for some years now. We don't get many of them in Canada, but we do have a few.
My favourite and best show is: Sewing With Nancy. I love Nancy Zieman's show! Nancy is an amazing lady who is obviously a wonderful sewer, quilter etc.
However, she is also a wonderful hostess on her show; never interrupts her guests when they are speaking, giving them ample time and space to explain their ideas and methods. Unlike a few other sewing shows hosts, who are rude, overbearing and obviously like the sound of their own voices.
Her studio set is an elegant and classy affair, and the lady herself just oozes elegance. The topics are always interesting, thorough and inspiring.
