I Have Been Quiet
I have been very quiet lately (not that I am regular blogger either). I have been looking for a job!! I was made redundant in March 2008 as funding for our project was cut by the almighty federal government.
Looking for a new job is a full-time job in itself! All I do these days is write cover letters, edit my CV, email and fax them out. I have had time for nothing else, no knitting or weaving. I sewed myself a jacket to wear to interviews but that is all. It turned out very nicely, fits nicely in all the right places but I am not too fond of it. It's not as fitted as I like my clothes to be.
I tried doing some weaving, but it didn't work out. I have been too tense and stressed lately which resulted in a poorly beamed warp (not to mention the colour and yarn were dead boring). I want to get a floor loom, while I love my table loom, I think I made a mistake and should have rented a floor loom instead! Yes I know, I had been advised to get a floor loom from the get go, but...
